Twelve hours from now I’ll be on a plane to JFK. After which, I will take a 12 hour flight to Tel Aviv, Israel. 10-12 Days after that, a 6 hour bus ride and 10 hour train ride will find me in Cairo, Egypt for 7 more days. Definitely hasn’t hit me yet, and I have both a nervous energy and mixed emotions. I will miss my family of course, and I’ve never been away for this long before (close to three weeks). But overall, I think it’s gonna be awesome.
I’ll try and write something everyday, whether it’s life changing or not. I have a feeling it will be more of the former though.
