Grew up in Fishkill, NY with Mom (Damaris Robles) and Dad (Samuel Robles). Attended college at Southeastern University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Trumpet Performance. While there, learned video production, graphic design and web development.
I currently work at The Crossing Church working on video production, web development and social media. I am also the Director of Communications at Educational Opportunities where I have similar duties. I play trumpet in the Imperial Symphony Orchestra. Married Whitney Robles right after graduation. We have a son, Jordan Robles and another on the way.
The purpose of my writing here is to describe and report on the inner workings of the local church. What works, what doesn’t, and what seems to be the keys to success within a church staff. I have been on staff in churches of various size and have attended many more to count. Between my college days of traveling on worship teams and being a freelance musician, I’ve seen many denominations and church types. Large and small, Pentecostal to Methodist, Independent, Catholic and more.
I hope to offer some insight from my experiences as well as share articles and thoughts from others in the church world who are truly thinking outside the box. Those who are making the local church really work. I would love to know your thoughts and ideas on anything I post here and look forward to interaction.
