Create for Tomorrow

The Internet has ensured that the more popular a thing is, the shorter its life span. Not to say some popular things don't last, but a majority of what is created for the internet lasts hours, not days.

Maybe you heard about the "Left Shark" meme from the Super Bowl. Don't bother looking it up though, it became a thing within minutes and was shared ad naseum to die just hours later.

I love funny things on the Internet as much as anyone, but I hope the things I create have lasting value. Whether it's art, writing, photography, music, or something else, don't create for the instant "high," make something that will stand the test of time.
