Don't Forsake History

I never enjoyed history class in school. Random dates and names of people who died hundreds of years ago: who cares?

It was only when I began to travel did the importance of history strike me. The Middle East, Europe and Africa. Countries thousands of miles apart, yet all of us are tied together by the centuries before.

But not only is our history important, understanding where we come from can impress the importance of what we're doing right now. One day, your actions today will be history. Their effects will be felt for years to come.
