Don't Selfie the Moment

Before smartphones and the Internet, every experience became a story to tell. We didn't have to prove we were there, the story we gained was invaluable.

Now, it's not enough to have a story. We require proof. Proof that we had a good time. Proof of the moment with our friends. But sometimes collecting the proof overtakes the experience itself.

If you visit the Grand Canyon, don't only see it through your phone's screen. Look with your eyes. Take it in. Gain a story to tell, not just a selfie.
