Face To Face

There are many ways to communicate in today's Internet world: text, social media, FaceTime, the actual phone, etc. Yet with any method aside from a face to face meeting, there is a high probability of misunderstanding. Voice inflection, facial expressions; all lost through pixels on a screen.

Misunderstanding is heightened through social media. In a headline sharing culture people are pushed to one side or the other with no room for meeting in the middle. No compromise, no humanity.

Difficult and deep conversations are best through only one medium: in person. Only by staring into another's eyes can a person's heart and mind be heard through the words they speak.
