Game Time

My son's T-Ball team has been struggling during practices. Players lose focus, they can't catch the ball, they're not running full speed around the bases; basically they're not giving 100%.

Yesterday they played their first game, and it was like they "turned it on." They were running fast, making plays, and working as a team. It took an opposing force to get them to play their best.

Sometimes we only give our 100% when others are watching. Maybe there's a promotion up for grabs and all of a sudden we give extra effort. But those who find lasting success, business owners and employees alike, are the ones who "keep it turned on." They don't just flip the switch at game time, they put in the work day in and day out, whether someone is watching or not.
