How To Eat An Elephant

One bite at a time. Strange saying, but when it comes to the insurmountable projects awaiting you at work tomorrow, it becomes a valuable lesson.

The premise: To see that impending, huge event or highly involved project as one thing, you are sure to be overwhelmed. Hundreds of details to cover, hours of work ahead of you; it's daunting to say the least.

But rather than focus on the totality of a project, laser-focus on one thing at a time. Push all other needs and voices into the corner, and devote yourself to one problem. Find the solution, accept the feeling of accomplishment over that task, and move on to the next.
