It's Hard Being Honest

There's the truth, and then there's the whole truth. The first can be difficult, but the latter is a true test of character. Telling partial truths can help avoid further probing and interrogation, but only the whole truth can clear your conscious.

When you've only told a partial truth, there is a nagging, unfinished business feeling that may never go away. After enough time the feeling is dull enough to not affect your every waking moment, but on some deep level you know it's there. The other half of a truth you chose to withhold. Don't settle for partial peace, be transparent. Tell the whole truth, and let your integrity speak for itself.
