More Important Than Work

When you are depended upon at your job, the tasks and priorities there can sometimes seem to outweigh anything else in your life. If you don't execute something well, the entire project could fall apart. But in reality, the responsibilities of work must be prioritized alongside your family, relationships, and personal growth.

We feel this the most during times of tragedy and hardship. If someone we know is in the hospital, everything else stops. A friend's marriage is in dire straits, we drop everything to help. But what if we went a step further and put those relationships at a higher priority all the time? How much closer could our friends and family be if they were made priority over work and financial success?
