Put A Limit On Stress
When it’s crunch time, and deadlines are quickly approaching, it’s inevitable that we feel stress. A mental and physical stress, knowing that the tasks at hand exceed our capacity.
You’ll never rid all sources of stress, but you can dictate the limit. It takes practice, and almost feels like denial, but there is a way to admit you won’t get it all done and still be okay.
As always, prioritizing is key. The tasks your job depends on need to be accomplished first. But there will be other very important tasks that if left undone, won’t be the end of the world.
Choose a specific moment to accept your incomplete work, and allow yourself peace. Those tasks will be there Monday whether you stress over them or not.
