Start with Compassion

Differences are easy to surface. Internet culture pushes us to one side or the other. We stare across the chasm of disagreements and it can become easy to hate.

There are convictions and beliefs unique to all of us, some rooted deep. We don't have to relinquish them for others, but they do not require we shun people either.

No matter our differences, we all share humanity. We have hurts, regrets, and scars. At the very base level, we can have empathy, even compassion for others.

"God is love."  - I John 4:16
