Surround Yourself with Confidence

Potential is a fleeting mystery. We all have the potential for great things, physically and mentally, but those limits are unknown. You could have the potential to run a mile in under ten minutes, but that might only happen when a group of your closest friends and supporters are running alongside you.

When we are by ourselves, it can be hard to stay motivated. We doubt our abilities and our confidence wanes. We are no less capable of great things, but they seem exponentially harder to accomplish. With no one to encourage, we stop running much earlier than necessary.

If you doubt your own abilities and feel like you're at a stand still, find people who instill confidence and support you, then surround yourself with them. You still need people to correct you when you mess up, or walk you through the failures to come, but hold the people that give you confidence the closest.
