The Virus of Discontent

There are two kinds of discontent. The first, a motivating trait. One that pushes for excellence and drives towards improvement. The second is a sickness that can compromise your work, your family, and seep into every part of life.

Maybe discontent manifests in your feelings toward a job. Your employer never treats you right. Or maybe your wife always nags, leading to discontent in your marriage. Be leery of thoughts that begin with never and always. How you respond to negative situations will dictate which discontent is being harbored inside.

Are you motivated to improve, to strive for better? Or do you want to give up and complain about what isn't fair?
