You Can't Force Others To Care
As a leader, there are certain things you are inherently passionate about. Maybe you pride yourself on punctuality, boast about your attention to detail, or can't wait to organize the next creative meeting. Whatever it is you love to do, you cannot force your team to share the sentiment.
Just saying, this is really important, will not stir your colleagues to passion. Each individual has their own priorities, and they are most likely different than yours. It's your job to set the tone, yes, but you must inspire others to care.
You need team buy-in, and a solid case for why what you're saying is actually important. Forcing others to care will only stir resentment. Instead, inspire others to join you in the passionate work.
